GR 86 Becomes GR86
Toyota has quietly changed the name of the GR86, removing the space between the letters and numbers. Thus, the “GR 86” became “GR86”.
The space between the letters and numbers was making it harder for customers to find the car online because internet searches, and particularly social media hashtag searches, would see the letters and numbers as two separate entities (#GR #86 instead of #GR86). The shift doesn’t change the car’s physical badges, only the way Toyota communicates the GR86’s name.
