Why is the GR86's Engine better?

We've seen that the GT86 in the past had some pretty low power and a civic could win a race easy from even a TRD version of the GT86 which had 200 ish hp.
But the situation is different now for the GR86 cuz it's got more poooower 240bhp. So no more civics winning from this beauty.
